Recently, the full‑range valve equipment for Chongqing Yunyang Jianquan Pumped‑Storage Power Station, manufactured by Sichuan Feiqiu (Group) Co., Ltd., has successfully passed factory acceptance.
A joint acceptance team consisting of the project’s EPC general contractor, supervision institute and operation‑maintenance entity conducted comprehensive verification on core valves including ball valves, axial‑flow check valves and butterfly valves in accordance with relevant standards and test outlines. All performance indicators meet the requirements of the contract and GB/T 26480.
Yunyang Power Station is a key clean‑energy project for the regional new‑type power system. Its pressure flow‑path control valves must withstand complex alternating operating conditions over long‑term service, imposing extremely high requirements on pressure‑bearing capacity, sealing reliability and actuation stability.
This acceptance covered the complete set of valve products of various pressure classes and calibers. Key test items including shell strength test, seal test, low‑pressure air‑tightness test and actuator‑linked operation test were witnessed on‑site. Test results show that no leakage occurred for all valve bodies during pressure holding and pressure stabilization phases. The valves operated smoothly without jamming, and the physical products are consistent with drawing design requirements.
Drawing on more than 60 years of experience in manufacturing hydropower and energy‑storage equipment, Sichuan Feiqiu has implemented closed‑loop whole‑process quality control tailored to the operating characteristics of pumped‑storage applications.
Full‑process quality traceability is achieved through re‑inspection of incoming raw materials, welding process control and multi‑dimensional pressure resistance testing. The one‑time successful acceptance of this complete valve range validates the manufacturing competence and project adaptability of domestic‑produced valves in the high‑end fluid‑control sector for pumped‑storage projects. It provides solid equipment assurance for subsequent installation, commissioning and long‑term stable operation of the power station.
