Since the start of this year, Orlam Valve Technology Co., Ltd. of Oubei, Yongjia has made new breakthroughs in overseas markets. Relying on an AI foreign trade assistant, it precisely targets global purchasers and clinched million-yuan orders. Its 10-year flexible manufacturing cloud platform integrated with AI delivers remarkable efficiency gains. On its 20th founding anniversary, the traditional manufacturer pioneers AI-enabled industrial development. The firm is preparing for the coming Yongjia International Pump, Valve & Pipe Exhibition
with strong support from its AI foreign trade system.

At Orlam Valve Technology Co., Ltd.’s foreign trade department, trainee trade manager Rafi sends exhibition invitations to global buyers in multiple languages online with help from the company’s AI foreign trade assistant system. Jin Hanie, Director of International Business, told reporters: “The system captures prospective buyers with online footprints and automatically analyzes their purchasing needs. Our trained AI model helps us secure orders efficiently.”

Since the start of the year, the system has greatly accelerated overseas customer development. According to Jin Hanie, the company
has sourced 115 targeted buyers across Belt and Road economies and select European nations, generating orders worth millions of yuan. A Qatar-based project is also under negotiation with an estimated contract value of RMB 20 million.

AI also empowers the company’s production. Orlam’s self-developed decade-old flexible manufacturing cloud platform is upgraded
to Version 2.0 with built-in AI assistants. Zheng Changfeng, head of Feishu Wenzhou Service Center, explained: “We connect Orlam’s existing digital assets to Feishu and leverage ByteDance’s large AI models to deliver intelligent production solutions.”
Company data shows AI enables full-process smart order management: production scheduling efficiency rises by up to 400%, lead time shortens from 20 days to 5 days, inventory turnover improves by 30% and production costs drop by 35%.
Jin Zhiyuan, Chairman of Orlam Valve Technology Co., Ltd., commented: “Big data alerts help us build AI algorithm models based on client demands in advance, lifting project screening accuracy to roughly 95%. Digital transformation has brought remarkable improvements to our business.”

Marking its 20th anniversary this year, Orlam Valve Technology Co., Ltd. relocated to a new plant early in the year, with over RMB 10
million invested in new production equipment now fully operational. Pre-digitalized workshop management keeps production well-organized amid rising order volumes. Xia Fu, Workshop Director, noted: “Our order backlog extends to September this year, and production proceeds smoothly as scheduled.”
Cost savings and efficiency gains are reinvested into high-end R&D. Wang Xinqin, Chief Engineer, said the firm plans to expand from
conventional valve manufacturing into food and pharmaceutical sectors, with an ultimate goal of developing products for the high-threshold semiconductor industry.
Orlam’s digital upgrade has become a benchmark of smart manufacturing in Yongjia’s pump and valve cluster, recently listed among Wenzhou’s outstanding cases of AI-driven manufacturing transformation. As Chairman Jin Zhiyuan put it: “AI will inject fresh momentum into the local valve industry of Oubei.”
